This gentleman was demo'ing the art of Blacksmithing at Heritage Park in Pinellas county. While the sparks were exciting to watch, he let us know that when doing real work, this was not a desired effect and was normally the sign of a poor blacksmith. Even so, I appreciate his dramatic demonstration as well the wealth of knowledge he was willing to share.
